A PRAYER FOR ABANDONMENT;
Father, I humbly come before You today, thanking You for the gift of life, for protecting me and—[thank Him for all you can think of an appreciate Him for]. I thank You for being faithful and just, merciful and loving. I praise You Lord.
Father, forgive me for being angry at You, forgive me Lord for all those thoughts I had and entertained of You not being fair, of You being unjust and intending me harm. Father, I now understand that You are holy (can have no ill intention towards me) and that You are faithful. You have no intentions to harm me, do me evil or be unjust towards me because that is not who You are. All Your plans for me are; not to harm me but to prosper me and all Your paths are peace. I confess the misplaced anger and bitterness I have/had towards You and I pray that the Blood of Jesus washes it away.
Open my eyes to the real enemy Father and I pray that You train my hands for war against this enemy.
Father, satan has wounded me through abandonment for he came to steal, kill and destroy. He stole my childhood and my parents from me; yet, I have been blaming You father for the pain satan caused me. Jesus came so that I may have life and have it to the abundance. I pray that I may have abundance in Jesus from this point forth.
Father, help me to genuinely forgive all the people that have hurt me and taken advantage of me. Help me to release any resentments I have had toward them and set my heart free from chains of unforgiveness. I cannot do it in my own power Lord and I pray for the grace to genuinely forgive.
Abandonment, I uproot you from my life in Jesus’ Name. I take you by the roots and pluck you out of my life in Jesus’ Name. I come against you in the Name of Jesus. Whatever you came with or opened a door to in my life—the anger, the bitterness, the suicidal thoughts, the sensitivity, the withdraw and so on—I uproot them too from my life in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I pray for divine angelic protection to protect me and secure my victory against Abandonment in Jesus’ Name.
Set me free Lord, set me free. For that’s Your will for me; to be free. I praise You Lord, I praise You Jesus, I thank You.
You are great, You are Worthy, You are Loving.
Father, I pray you reveal the depth of Your love, comfort and Parenthood to me.
In Jesus’ Name I pray,
Amen.
