BIKING AND MENTAL HEALTH: A POWERFUL APPROACH TO HEALING AND SELF AWARENESS
May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
I’ve been working on a series called Biking and Mental Health, where I use the mechanics of a high-performance motorcycle to reflect on healing, growth, and recovery.
Each part of the bike represents something we all deal with internally. The speedometer becomes self-awareness. The brakes depict wisdom and prudence. The fuel tank becomes our emotional and spiritual reserves. The chain becomes power delivery in acceptance and forgiveness. Simple systems, but critical to how the whole machine functions.
The idea is this: we are high-performance too. And just like a superbike, power without awareness, balance, and control can take us in the wrong direction.
This series is not clinical. It’s lived experience, broken down into simple, practical insight for anyone trying to grow, stay grounded, or rebuild.
